Mechanisms

The movements of our watches come from two well-known manufacturers:

Ronda AG: A Swiss family company that, with around 2,000 employees, is one of the biggest names in the industry and produces in Switzerland, Thailand and Hong Kong.

Miyota: A quartz and mechanical watch movement manufacturer founded by Citizen in 1959. Miyota produces in Japan and China. The 8215 automatic mechanical movement is widely known and used in various watch brands such as Festina and Hemess.

Case

The cases of our watches are made exclusively of stainless steel or titanium. These materials are hypoallergenic, so they are even used in medicine. They have a high-quality and durable coating (IP/PVD), e.g. in gold. The cases are equipped with robust mineral glass and are splash-proof (3 atm).

Bracelet

The bracelets are mostly leather straps: anti-allergic, PCB and AZO-free. All straps can be purchased at least 5 years after the watch was made, sometimes longer.

Sustainability as a matter of principle

Rolf Cremer watches mean: Design and quality of life concentrated in one product that can be used every day. For us, product quality is also characterized by sustainability. Our watches must be usable for as long as possible.

It goes without saying that they have to endure a lot in everyday use. It can happen that a glass breaks. We take precautions and attach great importance to the availability of spare parts. In some cases we can supply parts for watch models purchased 15 years ago.
